<description>Hi Jen - Absolutely go to the networking events! They are great practice for making your pitch in front of a hiring manager. I like your thought about all of us being a work in progress. Yes!

<description>I have enjoyed reading all of your postings. This last one, the top 5 typical job search problems, really hit home and made me stop to think whether I am setting myself up for success or not. One tip I would like to share is that we are always a work in progress. We will not always be perfect. While we can plan, we have to be flexible and make the best of any situation. I plan to do just that at a networking event scheduled for this week. I am still working on some of my marketing materials, but that doesn&#039;t mean I shouldn&#039;t go to the event. I just need to improvise. Thanks for the informative posts!
