Go Granny Go. Wearing Your Personal Brand On Your Sleeve
On a cool morning here in Mission Viejo, I saw her. While I was driving to work. No radio distraction. Open to all things.
My first reaction was to laugh. The second was to appreciate. To appreciate the speed at which her message came across.
Her brand in a nutshell?
GO GRANNY GO
I’ve seen her twice now. But I’ve hesitated to try and take a picture. After all, she’s driving and so am I.
So I’ll describe her for you:
- Pink helmet
- Pink jacket
- Pink scooter
Get the picture? So what else have I assumed about her?
- SHE’S CONFIDENT. She’s driving a scooter in a world full of very big cars and trucks.
- SHE KNOWS WHO SHE IS. And isn’t afraid to express herself. Clearly.
- SHE CELEBRATES HER STATUS. As a grandmother. That makes me want to learn more.
Perhaps instead of hiding or tucking away valuable parts of ourselves, we need to shoot up a flare.
What important part of you is in hiding?
Where is the granny in you?
