As I get up in age (50) and I know that at one time or another – I’ll come face-to-face with younger (less experienced) job seekers looking at the same job(s) I like. I’d like to thank you for this wonderful “30 Ideas” – I began reading it on my lunch break and haven’t stopped reading… A great tool for us older generation job seekers. Presently – I have a great job but was looking for something closer to the WDC area. More money for more experience (government jobs) or so I’ve been told. After working for the USG (24 yrs) and then going contractor – I’ve always felt better job security with the USG. So we shall see what happens in 2010 – thats when I’d like to come back to the States and work – presently in Iraq.

Thanks for the e-book – I plan on reading it carefully since I need to fuel my search.
I also read the article about procrastenating and I totally agree with spending hours and hours looking at job boards – I feel like I’m spinning my wheels. I’m determined to take a better route and seek out the “hidden job market” thru networking and anything else you suggest.
