Great Job Search Bloggers

So as you may have figured out, I don’t write every night.  I write as often as I can.  And on the nights when I am not inspired, well, I hang out at home and breathe.

Along with a full time job, working on the new Tim’s Strategy website, editing a new ebook (coming soon) and trying to succeed as a Husband and Father, I’ll tell you something.  Every night is not going to work for me.
But I’m not sure you’d want to hear from me every night anyway.  That’s a lot of reading.  And perhaps not enough networking. Or time with your own family.
But for those of you who can’t get enough, I’d like to share a few recent blog posts from other job search bloggers that I like.  But here’s the deal.  You can only read this blog post on their site.  If you read any of their other posts or sign up for their feed, you are in big trouble.  Sound convincing?  Of course, I am kidding.  Mostly.
Jacob Share writes a blog called JobMob.  Based in Israel, Jacob has fantastic posts and has recently built a real strength in the area of personal branding.  Jacob’s most recent post is called Twitter Personal Branding Q&A #2: Twitter Usernames, Personal Brand Managers and More where he answers questions from Twitter.  You can read that post Personal Branding on Twitter.

Neal Schaffer who I’ve mentioned here recently has a new post regarding networking on Linkedin.  Neal has been working feverishly on a new Linkedin book called Windmill Networking™.  Neal’s post tonight revolved around, you guessed it, networking on Linkedin. The post is titled LinkedIn Networking: 3 Ways to Find Great People to Connect With & Meet on LinkedIn. You can read it LinkedIn Networking.

At Career Alley, they are continuing a series titled Who’s Hiring at the Fastest Growing Companies. A great resource for active job seekers.  The latest post is tenth in the series.  You can read this new update Who Is Hiring.  And be sure to check out volumes 1-9.

Alison Doyle has been covering job search at About.com since 1998 and is one of the many talented veterans out there.  Her latest post on her blog is titled Bypassing The Job Boards. In this post, she discusses the importance of being where employers are now looking.  On LinkedIn, on Twitter and on some of the newer, more niche sites.  A good push forward for those of you stuck on the big sites.  You can read her post Bypassing The Job Boards.

Barbara Safani writes the Career Solvers blog. She wrote a great post earlier this month called The Future of Job Search: 2009 and Beyond? In it she makes predictions for how technology will affect the job search process and the way employers market themselves to candidates.  You can read her post The Future Of Job Search.

Chris Perry is quickly building the Career Rocketeer blog.  Chris recently wrote a post which details a significant list of great resources for job seekers. Titled 100+ Career Blogs ALL Professionals MUST Read, the post details blogs focusing on career search, career development, personal branding and more.  You can read the post 100+ Career Blogs.

I hope you enjoy reading these posts.  After all, we all need a little variety in life, right?
